Before you drive down
How do I reach Edgestay?
We are in Cheeknahalli village near Belur, about 4.5 hours from Bengaluru by road and 45 minutes from Chikmagalur town. The last kilometre is an estate road — a sedan manages it comfortably in dry weather.
What is the best time to visit?
September to February is the classic window: clear mornings, cool nights and the harvest. June to August is lush and misty if you enjoy rain.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Dogs are welcome with prior intimation, must be leashed in common areas and cannot be left alone in the cottage.
Is the tariff all-inclusive?
Yes — breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, dinner and estate coffee are included. Taxes and any outings are additional.
Do you host events or celebrations?
We host small gatherings of up to 30 guests on the lawn. Write to us with the date and headcount for a tailored quote.
